With our 7 day Cogne Ski Holiday, you will find yourself staying in the heart of this historic and picturesque village. With it’s cobble stone streets, staying in the most romantic of hotels, and situated in the Valle di Aosta, in the Italian Alps, you will have a ski holiday like no other. Just imagine coming in after a day of skiing and then slipping into the spa and sauna to rejuvenate. The hotel enables for direct access to the 50km of nordic ski trails in the valley. The breadth and depth of the variety of restaurants in Cogne, with it mix of French and Italian cuisines, is simply breath taking.
What’s covered in this trip?
Six nights of +3-star accommodation, all taxes, all breakfasts, four dinners, drinks and lunches as per the itinerary, transport in private minibus from Milan/Turin and return, ski trail passes, ski instruction and guiding. See detailed itinerary below. If you prefer to spend your down time in the very best accommodation that Cogne has to offer, then this can certainly be arranged. Alternately if you want to spend more money on skiing and less on accommodation, please contact me for a quote.

Itinerary for the 7 day Cogne Ski Holiday

I greet you early at Milan/Turin’s Central Station and drive north west to Cogne situated in the Aosta Valley. After we settle into our hotel, there will be time to take a walk around this picture book town, or we can go for a quick ski on the village green. Our hotel is conveniently placed to the ski trails. Welcome drinks and dinner are provided, as we plan out our week of skiing together.
Today we find our ski legs and focus on developing our ski technique. Skiing on and around the Village Green is the likely terrain of choice for today.
We ski out to Valnontey today. A delightful village situated on the Valnontey River, where numerous options abound of various ski trails to explore.
A stunning ski up to the very quaint village of Lillaz. Options abound for skiing, snow walks to frozen waterfalls and amazing food, accompanied by views of the mountains. Lunch is included today.
A short drive west towards France, where we ski above Courmayeur, in the small town of Entreves. Absolutely incredible views of the Italian Alps as they tower above us as we ski to a rifugio for lunch. Lunch is included today.
A drive to and across the Valle di Aosta. We ski at St Barthelemy. A 10 km ski into the rifugio/cafe, with stunning alpine views along the way. Lunch is available at the rifugio, though not included in the package.
There is time for a quick and last ski after breakfast, before we head off to Milan/Turin. I drop you off at the Centrale Railway Station of Milano/Turin, where we say arrivederci, and your next adventure awaits you. Ciao.

Hut to Hut overnight ski trip – a highlight of all our Cogne visits
Saint Barthelemy: We ski in 10 kms to a beautiful 3-star B&B rifugio (all meals included) and stay overnight, nestled into the Italian Alps at 1900m. All the trails are groomed, and you can either classic or skate with just a light day pack. This option is available on Days 6 and 7, or another day can be possibly added to the package. If this option is of interest, please contact me.

All prices are based on double/twin share rooms, no penalties for travelling single.
Your package includes: all accommodation, VAT and city taxes, transport and transfers in private minibus, welcoming drinks on night 1, all breakfasts, 2 lunches, 4 dinners, all cross-country ski passes, ski guide and ski instruction. See FAQ for more information.
Minimum number of four (4) people is required for the trip to proceed. Do not book your airfares until the trip is confirmed.
Travel Insurance
Travel insurance is mandatory for all guests travelling with us. You are strongly encouraged to take out this cover immediately upon paying your deposit. Your travel insurance must provide cover against personal accident, death, medical expenses, snow sports, emergency repatriation, cancellation, curtailment and loss of personal effects.
